Introducing the Well-Being Index Mobile App

In order to make the Well-Being Index even more accessible, we are excited to announce the release of the Well-Being Index mobile app available for iOS and Android devices. Our hope is that this development will make it easier for participants to assess their well-being wherever they are.

Whether on the train commuting to work, or waiting for an appointment, participants now have access to assess well-being from anywhere, at anytime. The Well-Being Index app allows participants to fit wellness assessment into their every day lives and routines.

Features of the Well-Being Index Mobile App:

  • Available for both iOS and Android
  • TouchID for authentication
  • Optional text message notifications
  • In-App reminders for reassessment eligibility
  • Resources on-the-go
  • As always, 100% anonymous

Invented by Mayo Clinic, the Well-Being Index is a 100% anonymous online assessment tool that evaluates multiple dimensions of distress in 9 questions. This app allows physicians, residents, fellows, medical students, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to accurately assess well-being. It also provides resources, allows users to track wellness over-time and then compare their well-being to peers. From a research standpoint, the tool also establishes a more accurate scale of wellness across the industry.
