We're on a mission to end burnout and answer the silent call for help that affects organizations across the country. The Well-Being Indexes were invented by the Mayo Clinic. They are 100 percent anonymous, web-based tools that evaluate multiple dimensions of distress in just 9 questions. They are designed to measure burnout, provide valuable resources when people them the most, and track progress over time to promote self-awareness. The ultimate goal is to end burnout among professionals and reduce the adverse consequences that coincide with the strain.
Based upon the individual's results, the Indexes suggest resources for next steps. These resources can be customized per an organization's preference. Each of the resource topics includes an up-to-date, brief video that provides an overview of research on the topic, national and organizational resources (provided by organizations or medical institutions), specific activities, and links to select publications on the topic.
On both an individual and institutional basis, the Indexes have the ability to track and report overall experience compared to the national average. Being able to track well-being over time promotes self-awareness and also gives institutions the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of their wellness programming.

In efforts to promote research and continued validation, the Well-Being Index questions and scoring system are available for free to qualifying users. The one-time registration is limited to a specific research project or a twelve (12) month duration.
